8 Weapon

It has been 3 weeks since the arrival of the new residents of the village which I named 'Crimson Village'. That name is still temporary though. Maybe I will have voting for a new permanent name. The lives of new citizens have been stable now. I have already assigned each of them to their assigned jobs.

Those who are good with carpentry were assigned to Grano. I call them the Construction team. Their job is to formulate ideas of new projects and if those ideas are approved by me, they will build it. I sometimes join them if I have free time.

The ladies of each tribe which are not fond of those jobs are assigned to Lisha. I told her to teach them how to cook. If you are wondering how come Lisha is so good at cooking, I taught her some dishes from Earth and she has mastered it already. This cooking group will just be created in order to have a cook for each family. They will only be summoned if there is an important event or a banquet. Their group will be called 'Cook Squad'.

The dwarves each have very different jobs. There were two dwarves who are blacksmiths so I created their own group called the 'Metalwork Group'. They handle the precious ores and gems that I received from Laur.

The dwarves also have two winemakers. I also created their own group called the 'Alcohol Group'. Right now they are focused on using the purple apples as a potential wine.

One of my favorite groups is the 'Artist Club'.

There are currently also two members here. Jins is the leader of this group. She is the wife of the Leader of the Dwarves which is Wright. Jins is an amazing artist. I assigned them to create flags for the village and I will pick one.

There are also some ladies who want to be seamstress aka those people who make clothes. I provided them some thread I created from the wool of the sheep and I also created them a manual machine for sewing. That was a lot of work.

Farming is also important for our village since crops are one of our main sources of food. I told Listh to lead all the children from each race who do not have a job yet to teach them how to farm. It might be weird for them to be taught by someone younger than them but they seem fine with Listh as the teacher. There was also a young dwarf named Jorn who is the eldest among the group so I told him that be will need to lead the young group. My next project in mind is creating a school for young ones. Maybe I will implement that next time.

Finally, we had our own soldiers or guards. I specifically named this group 'Crimson Guards' since our main goal is to protect, not attack. I am of course is the Commander in Chief. I assigned Kirth as the Chief of Staff. We had 10 subordinates. 2 from the Salamanders. 3 from the Beastmen. None from the Dwarves. 5 from the Harpies. This group also takes rotations from guarding the village each day and night. They are also assigned to hunting. The flight ability of the Harpies is certainly useful so I used it for scouting areas. I also train them constantly. I later formulated from the training that I am the strongest, next is Kirth, then the beastmen and the Salamanders. The harpies are a different case but I think I could beat them. It was kinda surprising that men that are older than me and Kirth are weaker than us. Maybe it is because we have been living and training here. I will continue to train them to become more capable fighters for our village.

Laur has been dropping by the village once a day. She checks out the situations of the new residents. We always hang out each of those times.

Damn, she really is pretty.

I also got to learn about her life.

She is from a race called Fairies. Their role is to protect the environment. Each fairy has tribes and each tribe has an assignment on what place to protect. Her tribe is assigned to protect the Crimson Woods.

I asked her why don't the other fairies show up here. She told me that they are busy with other stuff and I do not need to worry because her mother will come here in the near future.

What?! Her mother? Then I need to really prepare the village well to pay respects to our protectors.

We had a long talk until sunset. I really had fun talking with her at the top of a tree.

"By the way Wreck, I have a present for you."

"What is it?"

She went down the tree and then flew up while bringing a long item.

"Here."

Wow. I received a very beautiful glaive. The handle is colored in red and the blade is shining while it is colored in blue. When I held it in my hand, I felt immense power through my veins.

"That weapon is called EIRIC. I specifically made that for you."

"THANK YOU SO MUCH LAUR!!"

I then hugged Laur tightly. I noticed that she felt kinda surprised by my actions.

"Oh sorry. My bad."

"No no it is fine."

"Thanks again, Laur."

I said sincerely.

Just then Bubba, the leader of the Harpies and also the leader of the scouting squad, arrived in our location.

"Pardon me sir, but my squad has located some outsiders near our area sir."

"What are they doing ?"

"I am afraid we still cannot identify their actions but we figured out what are they, sir."

"What are they then?"

"They are human sir."
