74 The Day Before

Laur's POV

"How are the decorations?!"

"It is almost finished, Madame!"

"What about the lodging?"

"Our team has officially finished those jobs maam."

"Good, now where is my husband?"

"Chairman Wreck? I believe he is with Sir Grano finishing the Maroon Arena madame."

"Alright. I will be heading there so you better finish all of your jobs before I arrive back here!"

"Yes, madame!"

After talking to my people, I spread my wings and soared to the sky. I am now heading towards my husband.

As you might notice, I have been extremely busy. All of us have been extremely busy, and there is a reason why. Tomorrow is the 1st ever Union Festival. This festival marks the first year the union was formed and we are all trying our bests to provide the best festival we could and as the Leader of the Crimson City and a seat holder in the Assembly, I had a lot to do. I personally managed all of the preparation while Lisha and Listh assisted me. Without their help, I probably would have given up a long time ago.

After my responsibilities as a leader, I still have a responsibility as a mother. The triplets Alreick, Allaura, and Allucci are al still infants and still need guidance. Wreck has been extremely busy himself. Sometimes he even does not sleep at home due to work so I did most of the parenting. I am so thankful that we hired three babysitters for the children because I could not handle them myself.

I am currently flying towards my husband who is currently working at the Maroon Arena. Maroon Arena is the official venue of the Union Festival. Basically, that place is the center of the festivities because all of the stores, shows, and events will be occurring in that area.

After a few minutes, I have finally arrived. I can now see the Great Maroon Arena. It is located right at the center of the Mudland Union, Right at the middle of the Crimson City – Gaorus City Road, The heart of the Union. You can clearly see that this Arena is massive from far. Wreck told me that this Building can accommodate 10,000 inside. the land outside was also flattened for the rest of the residents that cannot go in. I am very impressed with this building.

I quickly headed towards the entrance where I saw Wreck talking to Grano.

"Wreck!! I am here!" I shouted as I ran towards them.

"Laur!!!" Wreck screamed in shock.

"Lady Laur! Nice to meet you here madame." Grano greeted.

'Nice to meet you too Grano."

"Laur, why are you here?!" Wreck asked.

"Why am I not allowed to be here?"

"No, of course not! I thought that you still have a lot to do in Crimson City."

"I already finished all of those just a while ago. How about you? Is this place ready for tomorrow?"

"I think are almost done here. The stage is already set up. The seats are almost done and then the shops and stands are also being built right now so I would say we are about to be finished." Wreck replied.

"Great job then. Have you already sent the invitations to King Trevo of Sandon Republic and to King Ebriz II of the Kingdom of Zione?" I asked.

"Rael already wrote it and I ordered Bubba and his men to send it earlier this day." Wreck replied quietly as I can visibly see that he is very tired. Grano noticed it too.

"You should better rest now Young Wreck. Tomorrow is an important day. You better conserve your energy." Grano told my husband.

"But I still need to finish all of this."

"Don't worry about that. Grano will handle it by himself. Right, Grano?" I asked with a clear hint to Grano which he quickly understood.

"Of course! I will finish this myself as you head to your home to rest. Trust me. You already did a lot."

"Fine. The let us go now, Laur."

I quickly picked up my tired husband and carried him bridal-style.

"Goodbye, Grano!"

We waved our goodbyes to Grano as I spread my wings and soared to the sky and headed back to the Crimson City.

Wreck must have had it hard for the past weeks. He has a lot to take in as the Chairman of a huge multi-ethnic nation. I better let him rest for the night in preparation for the big day tomorrow.

-THE NEXT DAY-

Wreck's POV

Today will be a very long day. Good thing I got a great rest yesterday. I got to thank Laur and Grano for that one. I noticed that Laur seems to have left earlier than me. She must stuff to do. I walked down the stairs after fixing my clothes. I saw the triplets held by their personal babysitters.

"Good Morning, Chairman Wreck". The three helpers greeted.

"Good morning all of you too."

I quickly kissed each of my babies one by one as a greeting.

"Good Morning little ones!"

*BABY CRIES*

"Oh, I am sorry! I Daddy did not mean to make you cry!"

"It is ok sir we will handle it," Atha told me as each of the maids silenced the babies.

"Did Laur left already?" I asked.

"Yes sir," Namsa replied.

"Oh, I see. I will also be heading out now. I Still have a lot to do. Don't forget to bring the babies later on the festival!!"

"We will sir! Good luck!" Ranai replied.

I then went outside the house. Now it is time to start my day.

Just as scheduled, Bubba has arrived in order to fetch me.

"Good Morning, Chairman." Bubba greeted.

"Good morning to you too Bubba. Now let us head towards the Maroon Arena."

"Understood, sir," Bubba replied.

I hopped on his back and Bubba started to flap his wings.

"By the way Bubba, where is King?"

"You mean the King of the Woods, sir?"

"Yes."

"The King of the Woods is helping the security with Sir Kirth."

"Oh, I see. Good thing he is being useful."

After that conversation, Bubba then brought the two of us high up the sky as we go towards our destination.
