Today, I will present my proposal to the council. I spent my whole night yesterday thinking about the actions our village is going to make. I am ready for my proposal.

The members of the council which are Laur, Grano, Kirth, Craw, Exel, Wright, and Bubba are here in the meeting room. I also had Craig join us as an observer so that he will be familiarized with what the council is.

"What is it that you want to present to us sir Wreck?" Wright asked.

"Okay, I will now start. Yesterday, I and the Crimson Guards rushed to the Norman Town because Bubba and his squad found out that the elves were attacked by the ogres."

They are all listening quietly so I continued.

"We later found out that wars are common in this area because there is no definite powerful state here. This land has been named Mudland due to the fact that battles are way too common. Which is why I have made a solution for that."

"But Wreck, we live here in the Crimson Woods. The matters outside are not our responsibility. We do not need to intervene in their problems." Grano said.

"Yes, you are right. We are not responsible for that right now. But what if these wars continue? What if the Norman Town gets conquered? Our supplies of spices will run out. Our allies will be gone. Soon, the Crimson Woods would be known to be habitable and outsiders will eventually find out about our village that may disrupt our peace. We need to act now!"

"So what is your proposal, sir?"

"My Proposal is named 'The Unification Initiative'."

They are all surprised.

"Unification? So you plan on conquering nearby towns so we can rule?"

"We can't do that sir. We lack the manpower to do that."

"We disagree, sir!"

"Wait just listen to me first. The Unification Initiative will be not unifying every independent town through force."

"Then what will be your method?"

"Diplomacy."

"So what makes this different from alliances?"

"This is different because all independent towns that will join the union will basically be part of a country but still has power over their area."

They all still looked confused.

"My plan is basically to unite all independent towns and nations in the mudlands under a single flag. There will be no single leader in this unified country."

"How will that work if there is no leader?"

"In replacement to the King, we will have the Gathering of all leaders of each town and they will be the leaders of all. Basically like the council but no definite leader and is larger."

They are all still in deep thoughts. Grano again spoke first.

"I get your idea. It is great for our future but how are you going to convince the other towns to stop fighting and join the union?"

I smiled.

"Using my knowledge."

"WHHHAAAAAATTT?!?!!?!"

Weeks have passed since the meeting. I have been so busy with our preparations for the Union. Bubba's squad is also busy with their scouting.

I ordered Bubba's squad to scout the north town and the other town that is not the Ogre's town.

The first town is a town of Orcs. They are pig-like species but are human-sized. Bubba told me that their town is a large as Norman but is less developed. They are also attacking other towns due to their strength and numbers. Bubba told me that the population estimate of the town is 700-1000 which is about the same as Norman but half of those are part of the military. The town commonly relies on hunting. Farming is not common. They also seem to lack food which is why they are fighting for lands.

The second town is a town of minotaurs. They are a race of Humanoids with horse-like legs and horns at their heads. The town seems to rely on farming. They are a more passive town that just defends rather than attacks just like the elves. Their town is also about 3 km far from the Orc's town which is why conflict is common. Their population estimate is about 800-1100 but their military is about 200-250 only. They seem to be a docile race but will defend their land fiercely. Poverty is also common to them not due to lack of food but lack of technology. Their houses are outdated and they have no access to iron.

Now we have two towns with two different races. They are also polar opposites. They have different jobs, different methods, and different needs but they all have the same problems, poverty. Which is why I am here.

I am going to use my knowledge and resources I possess in order to unite two polar opposite lands.

My plan is to visit first the Minotaurs. I will use the technology we possess and offer it to them. We can help them in their construction, and their productions. I kinda forget that I possess the power to craft because I barely use it these days but I can showcase this on them. I can also offer them the red iron. If they still are hesitant my final plan is to take all of their criminals and troublemakers just like the elves. I can make them my own people and soldiers so I can increase my own village population.

Next is to use the Minotaurs' food to offer it to the Orcs. We can also offer our own crops to them. I can also use the criminal card if I had to.

My main plan is to fulfill their needs and if we are now friends, I can offer them the idea of union. If they still reject it, I cam use the intimidate card, which is basically tell them that we are from the Crimson Woods and prove that we are strong enough. I can also just scare them that we will not provide them the food or iron anymore so that they will have no choice but to agree.

Yes, my plan may sound evil when I just straight-up blackmail them but if they just agree with my terms from the start, then everything will be alright. I also still have my hidden card.

Anyways, my preparations are now done. I have planned this for weeks so wish us luck.
