Narrator's POV

The news about the birth of Wreck and Laur's children spread like a wildfire throughout the Union. From the high ranks to the commoners, everyone was talking about the triplets that arrived in the world that day.

"Hey! Did you know about the hottest news today?"

"No. What is it?"

"I heard it from a driver a while ago that Chairman Wreck's children are already born and they are triplets!"

"Really? Are you sure about that?!"

"Of course. That driver was from Crimson town earlier. Everyone is talking about that now!"

"That really is big news! We are basically knowing the births of our future leaders!"

"Yeah! They are basically our princes and princesses! And you have to know that their mother is Madame Laur which is a fairy!"

"They are for sure going to be special!"

"This is really a very special day!"

That day was later remembered as the Bay of the Birth of the Union's Royal Children. The future of the Mudland Union as it expands.

The next day, just like as scheduled, Lady Lucy arrived in the Crimson Town from the Fairy Realm. She arrived alone and she was welcomed by Wreck as his wife and children are all resting at their house.

"Welcome to the Crimson Town Lady Lucy." Wreck respectfully said as he bowed.

"Enough with that Lady Lucy calling my son. You should call me mother Lucy."

Wreck was kind of flustered by the request buy he tried.

"Alright, Mo...ther Lu....cy."

"Okay. Now that we settled that matter, where are my grandkids son? I need to meet them!"

"You seem very excited Mother."

"But of course! It is my responsibility as their grandmother to be with them. I also need to guide both you and Laur on how to properly be their parents, understood?"

"Yes, mother."

Wreck then brought Lady Lucy to their house where Lady Lucy meet the children sleeping in their personal cribs while Laur is cleaning their mess.

"Laur! I told you to don't clean by yourse-!"

"Shhh! Be quiet Wreck! You are going to wake our children!" Laur whispered.

"You seem to become a very responsible mother Laur."

"Mo-Mother! I am very pleased to meet you. I never knew that you will arrive this early!"

"I had to my daughter. Would you mind introducing to me my grandchildren."

"Of course mother! Come right here! This baby boy sleeping on the left side is the eldest. His name is Alreick. The baby girl in the middle is named Allaura and she is the middle child. The one in the right meanwhile is Allucci and he is the youngest baby boy. They are cute right?"

"Wonderful names my daughter! My babies are all so cute! I want to grab all of them and hug them!"

"No no no no no no no Mother! You should not disturb them while they are asleep." Laur reacted as she pushed her mother away.

"Alright Alright, I won't. I overreacted a bit earlier."

Wreck, who was silently observing her mother in law and her wife argue, tried to find a way to enter the conversation and he had the opportunity now.

"Uhm Excuse me, mother. Would you mind going downstairs so we can eat our lunch as we talk and also to not disturb the kids?"

"Right Mother! We should definitely go downstairs and talk there!" Laur added.

"Alright if you both want to."

The trio went down to the kitchen as Wreck prepared their lunch for the day. Laur is with her mother because Wreck personally told him not to overwork herself so she was forced to sit down and wait.

"Lunch is ready!'

Wreck cooked some curry with red rice for the meal at the noon.

"Wow! An amazing dish you have here my son. My daughter is really lucky to have you as her husband, you can do everything!"

Wreck blushed.

"No need to compliment my mother!"

"I can cook to mother!" Laur said with jealousy.

"Really? My daughter that knows nothing but to be hot-headed and solve everything through fighting? Is this true son?"

"She did improve, but she is still way below me."

"HEY, NO FAIR WRECK!"

Everyone but Laur chuckled as her cooking skills were dissed by her mother and her husband.

After some lighthearted talks, while eating, they finished their lunch.

"Daughter, Son, I did not just come here just to meet my babies here. I also came here to verify them."

"Verify them?" Wreck asked as he was confused.

"Is this about the Identity Trial mother?"

Lady Lucy nodded.

"I am a very sorry mother but may I ask what this Identity Trial thingy you are talking about?"

"I know you are very confused right now son but let me explain. The Identity Trial is the ritual we do to every offspring of any fairies Whether it is only their mother or father does not matter as long as the baby is born from a parent that has fairy blood on them. This ritual is done after the child was born and this is implemented in order to check the identity of the baby. To identify if the Baby is a full-blooded baby or a half-blooded one. In some cases, the baby might not even have fairy blood."

"So basically this is a test on every baby to know if they are a fairy or not right?"

"That is correct Wreck or our baby could be a half-born."

"Does their identity really matter?"

"Of course son! Knowing what your child's identity is needed to know how to raise them."

"Okay. So what are you, Laur?"

"I am a full-blooded Fairy with the ability to fly just like a fairy should. Mother is also a full-blooded fairy. Full-blood is the most common in the realm because it most of the fairies marry other fairies."

"What makes a non-fairy and a half-fairy different?"

"Non-fairy is basically the race of the non-fairy parent. For example, if a fairy and a human had a baby, the baby will be just a normal human. Meanwhile, the half-fairy is the rarest of them all. This is really a different one. If a human and a fairy had a baby, the half-fairy will be different. The baby will have the ability to fly, the characteristics of the non-fairy parent, and a very special ability to heal."

Wreck was so surprised.

"Heal! That is way too overpowered!"

"I know, but in the history of the Fairies in the realm of Crimson Woods, there has been about 5 that was born as a half-blood and they are all long gone. It would be nice if one of our children will become a half-blood, but the chances are low and I will always love them whatever they are."

"I will also love them forever Laur."

*BABIES CRYING VERY LOUD!!"

"Oh no! They are awake!"

"It was because of your shouting Wreck!"

"Let us now do the ritual while they are awake daughter!"

They all went upstairs as Wreck rushed to the babies in order to calm them down but she was stopped by Laur.

"What are yo-?!"

"Stop! The ritual is about to start."

Lady Lucy then walked towards the crib of the babies. She started chanting words in her mouth as her hands start to glow. As her words continued, babies start to become really quiet. Wreck was really worried.

"Is this really safe?"

"Just trust my mother Wreck!"

Lady Lucy then grabbed the middle child which was Allaura. After a few seconds, Lady Lucy placed her back at her crib and said.

"FAIRY!'

She then walked towards the crib of Alreick, the eldest. She did the same procedure as she did with Allaura. After a few seconds, she then spoke.

"NOT A FAIRY!"

The couple starts to become worried that their children are different. Finally, Lady Lucy went to the last crib where the youngest, Allucci was. She grabbed him but it took her a longer time to speak. The couple then became even more worried. After ten seconds of waiting, the mother finally announced.

"HALF-FAIRY!"

I am really sorry for not uploading for a really long time! I have been really busy recently and it took a huge chunk of my time in writing but don't worry! I am now back and I will be uploading every day! The sad part here is that I am going to be only uploading once a day now! I am very sorry but that is all I can promise as of now. The most will be twice a day but it will regularly be once a day. I hope that you will understand my situation and don't worry! The exciting part is about to happen! I am now finishing my draft for the upcoming huge arc!! It will be fire! Just as always comment on your thoughts!
