27 Glow

The leader finally showed up. An orc that stands above all orcs. He has the charisma and aura of a very well respected Fighter and Leader. I can see why he is a leader.

"Laur, let me handle this."

"Alright, I trust you in this one." She said but she is clearly wanting for more action. Anyways I talked to the Orc leader.

"Sir Orc Leader. I have come here to talk-"

"Stop for a minute, if you came here to talk then we can do that later. Let our blades do the talking first!"

He swiftly dashed towards me which caught me off guard. I barely evaded his piercing sword as I move towards the right. I quickly grabbed the Eiric and positioned for the Dragon's Jaw.

I slammed the glaive to him towards the ground but I was surprised when he blocked it. No one in the village is able to block that aside from King. Even Laur evades rather than facing that attack.

"Is that the best you can do, intruder?"

I quickly grabbed my glaive back and went a few steps backward. So he is a fighter that has a lot of prowess when it comes to strength. Basically a tank. The best way to handle this is speed.

I swiftly ran in circles around him in order to find some weak spots on him. He meanwhile tries to slice me with his iron sword but since I am faster, I can dodge his attacks.

"Are you just going to run around me, human?!"

I saw an opening in his nape so I quickly grabbed the opportunity and performed a jumping piercing attack. He also noticed what I am aiming for so he turned around and blocked my upcoming attack using his sword. We are now basically facing off just using our strength.

"TAKE THIS HUMAN!!!!!!"

"YAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!"

It was first a close battle but he suddenly is beating me. Knowing my future, I quickly pulled out of the clash. The crowd around us of course cheered.

"YEEEEEEAAAAAAHHHH MASTER IS WINNING!!!!"

"WOOOHHHHHHH!!!!!!"

Everyone was so pumped up. If this continues, our fight will just continue for a long time which is not ideal. I need an idea to quickly beat this dude. And after thinking for a while....

"I GOT IT!"

Laur's POV

My husband is currently fighting the leader of the Orcs. He is a very strong individual. I believe his raw strength is greater than my husband or mine. Things are also looking bad for Wreck. The crowd also cheers very loudly so if ever Wreck loses this fight, I need to quickly grab him and escape since I cannot handle a whole town alone. I was about to grab him when he retreated and paused for a bit but then he shouted

"I GOT IT!"

The crowd did not hear what he said and continued to cheer. It seems like Wreck has thought of a battle plan. He is a very smart individual so I need to trust her in this one as his wife.

Wreck swiftly dashed towards the enemy orc which quickly put on his guard. Looks like Wreck is going to do the move he did earlier.

"You stupid human. You know that won't work!"

I was also wondering why Wreck is doing the same move as earlier but then I saw his smile. Looks like he has a trick up on this sleeve. I just need to sit here and wait for his plan.

Just right after the orc talked, Wreck then suddenly pierced the grounding using his glaive and which caught the orc off guard because Wreck was flying through the air! He used his blade as the launching platform to launch himself towards the enemy, but the next sequence really surprised everyone here, including me.

Wreck's POV

I am now in the air, preparing to punch the orc from above-using gravity. I am on the air because I used the Eiric as a pole like the sport Pole Vaulting. Anyways as I fall towards the orc, who was by the way surprised by my moves, my instincts tell me to shout so I did.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

I then felt a huge surge of power in my body. I felt like the whole world paused for a while. I unconsciously then transferred the surge of power in my fists. As I fall down my fists are glowing red. After that whole shenanigans, I punched the Orc. I was aiming for his head but he blocked it with his sword. But then

*BOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!*

Everyone that was watching flew backward. The orc that I was fighting was thrown about 20 meters away. His sword broke into pieces. Everyone was shocked, and that includes me.

The red glow in my arms was gone. The mysterious power I felt was gone and I am now feeling really tired. What was that?! Looks like there are still abilities that I have no idea exists. Is this related to the special one thingy? Anyways before I deal with all of that mess I need to handle this situation first.

Laur ran towards me and ask.

"Are you fine?"

"I am. What about you?"

"I am all good, but what was that ability?"

"I also have no clue, but we need to go to the orc for now."

I walked towards the location where my enemy was and helped him stand up. He seems like he receives a lot of damage to his body because he can't stand properly but his mouth seems fine.

"I lost the fight. Do whatever you want for me. As the leader and the strongest orc of the Gaorus Town, I admit defeat. Now, what do you want from us, human?"

"Let's talk about that later. Let me first help you stand up. By the way, my name is Wreck, what about you?"

"Since I acknowledge your skills and your strength, I will tell you my name. My name is Gald, the Master of the Orcs here in Gaorus Town. So what do you want from us?"

"I want you and your people to listen to my proposal."

"Proposal?!"

After a few hours of talks with Gald in his home privately about my plans, he quickly agreed.

"Really? Are you not going to complain about any of my ideas?"

"No, I won't. Since you beat me in a fight I am on board with your idea and also your proposal really benefits our town. I like it."

"Are you not going to complain about the fact that you will be working with the Minotaurs which you have fought many times before?"

"No No No. Our race does not hold grudges and also we are easy to win over. The fact that you are donating a lot of food for my city is a huge win for us, let alone an additional three allies. So I am going to join your union."

"Th-Thank you so much!"

"No problem Wreck!"

That was easier than expected! Now we have three towns that are my allies. I have now reached the climax of the Unification Initiative. The Ogres of Rhine.

"Oh by the way, what is the name of your village Wreck?"

Why do I feel Deja Vu and I already know what is going to happen?

"The name is Crimson Village."

"HAHHAHAHAHAHA. It sure is funny that your village shares the same as the fo-"

"And yes it is located at the Crimson Forest."

"WHAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTT?!?!?!?!?!?!"
