75 Festival
Wreck's POV
"We are here, sir."
Bubba and I finally arrived at the Maroon Arena and wow. There are so many people waiting for the opening!! Thousands of residents are waiting for the start of the Union Festival! We better hurry up or chaos will surely ruin this massive event.
After I went down from the back of Bubba, he asked me.
"Do you have any orders, sir?
"Uhmm….. Since it would suck if you won't join the Union Festival, why don't you and your boys do a round trip throughout the perimeter? If you still have time also check the main pathways and roads used by our visitors and if you ever see something suspicious or shady, quickly report it to me. After all your job is done, you may enjoy the day."
"Thank you, sir."
"You are welcome," I said as Bubba flew away. I need to give Bubba and his team some break. He is one of the most important figures of the nation and he works nonstop. He deserves some rest.
After dealing with Bubba, I quickly headed towards the main function hall for the important guests and see who has arrived already. After a walk, I arrived at the gall, and all I found was Laur and Gald.
"Wreck, you are finally here man!!!!!" Gald greeted as he petted my head ferociously.
"Yes, Gald and will you please stop that!" I declared as I shoved his arm.
"Oh, you are no fun. HAHAHAHHAHAHA!!!"
"By the way, where are the rest of the assembly and our guests?" I asked.
'Don't panic, Wreck. Everything is under control. Mayor Hanel is currently fetching King Trevo of Sandon and his men while Tran is with at the north to fetch King Ebriz II of Zione with his family." Laur replied.
"What about Mayor Sais and Chief Well?"
"They are both currently entertaining the people waiting for the grand opening. With the arrival of the guests, we can officially open the celebrations of this festival. So you better relax."
"Ok, I will relax."
After our conversation, the door suddenly opened.
"Long time no see, Chairman Wreck!"
"King Trevo!" I said as I shook his hands.
"What about me, chairman?"
"Oh, I did not forget about you, Prince Veeto!" I said while also shaking his hands.
"Your nation is very impressive, Chairman. I see no imperfection just yet. Even this huge building we are in is very impressive."
Looks like he still has his OCD features in him.
"Thanks, your highness. By the way, I would like to introduce to you, my wife. Her name is Laur."
"Nice to meet you, your highness." Laur greeted.
"Isn't your wife a fairy, chairman?"
"Yes."
"Oh, no need to be formal to me, madame fairy. And just like I expected, fairies are such perfect beings." The King praised Laur
"No need for compliments!" Laur said with a blush.
Uhmm, I think King Trevo is praising Fairies due to the cursed thing I did. It must have traumatized him and I feel sorry for tricking him and his whole city.
After the introductions, the entourage of King Trevo has left the hall to explore more. I hope he does not find any more imperfections here.
The Royal family from the Kingdom of Zione came in next after the first group.
"Chairman! Happy Festival!!" King Ebriz greeted.
"Thanks, your highness. Welcome to the Mudland Union."
"Yes. I really like your nation, Chairman. It seems like you have built something really special in this chaotic lands. Oh, by the way, I forgot to introduce to you my wife last time so here she is. Meet my wife, Queen Lequia of Zione." The king declared as she introduces the middle-aged lady right beside him. And she looks like a very rich wife of a CEO.
'Nice to meet you, chairman. I am the Queen of Zione, Lequia."
"Nice to meet you too, maam. And also let me introduce to you my wife, Laur Crimson."
"Nice to meet you King Ebriz and Queen Lequia." Laur greeted.
"What a beautiful young lady you are!" The queen reacted.
"You are a very lucky man, chairman." The king teased me.
"No need for compliments!" Laur said and reacted similarly to what she did earlier.
"By the way, where is General Reid, your highness?"
"Oh? Reid is very busy with the military currently so he won't be able to attend."
"I see." That is pretty sad but my man has a huge job right now.
The King then introduced his daughter Princess Zanelle and Prince Zarille. After that, they were escorted to their respective seats for the opening programs.
"Now that the guests have arrived, we should start the program."
After all the waiting. After all the problems. After all the stuff that I encountered in this world, I am now about to face my people and mark this day as the anniversary of the Mudland Union.
I walked towards the stage right in front of a huge crowd waiting for the commencement of the festival. They are all cheering loudly, but I silenced them. And they all followed. Everyone was silent.
As I look at the chairs at the side, I see my wife, my children, my trusted people, and the people that I have encountered in this world. I was humbled by them and I couldn't have reached this moment without them.
Now that everything was quiet, it was now my time to shine.
"Everyone that is in this Arena, I thank you for the help you have provided to me. I will make sure to return it back to you. I won't take this any longer, THE UNION FESTIVAL OFFICIALLY STARTS!!!!!!!!"
"YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Everyone cheered.
I could have prolonged my speech but I cannot be emotional on this special day so I decided not to. My first year of residence in this world has finally been marked.

Woohoo! It is currently sunset and that day was extremely fun yet extremely tiring! I was very satisfied with the result of my planning and execution. Kudos to the whole Union Government and to everyone that helped us facilitated this event. Even though it is not yet over, I decided to rest in a private room in the Maroon Arena when suddenly a bird swooped inside the room through the window which surprised the heck out of me.
It was Bubba.
"Sorry for the interruption of your rest period, sir."
"Oh, it is fine. Are you not having a great time outside?
"No sir. The festival is great, but my men and I noticed some foreign establishments and foreign inhabitants down south."
"South? Isn't that down the Great River?"
"Yes sir."
"Did you identify what are those foreigners and where are they from?"
"Yes sir. they are humans from the Kingdom of Thrile."
