2 Chapter #2: ‘Nao let me grow up & Tadashi Confession’

The next day I woke up ready for school I looked on my dresser and seen my dad got me some new headphones so I ran down stairs when I was dressed in my uniform and hugged him and said thank you dad.

He looked at me and said your welcome anything for daddy's little girl he looked at me and smiled so I sat at the table and had breakfast. as I was about to leave my mom said

Misaki aren't you going to wait for your brother?

no I told him I'm going on a head if he's not down in time I have my friends walking with me so don't worry ok mom. as I went out the door my mom looked and seen Tadashi Akio Ryuu and Takahiro

oh hi boys thank you for walking her. she looked at Tadashi and then went back inside.

Then Nao came down and asked did misaki leave?

yes she did with your three friends and a new face he was handsome said there mom.

all they heardwas .....WHATTTTTTTT!!! U let her leave with him ?

Now now Nao misaki is old enough to hangout with anyone or even have a boyfriend she's not always going to be your little sister. one day your going to get her mad for all this overprotective your doing to her said there dad. I will admit it's hard seeing her off like that but she's getting older and things change in time ok I'm just saying if you keep pushing her like this she's going to end up hating you for it so let her grow up.

Nao looks at his parents and then looks down and walks away gets his things and leaves for school just thinking about wat his dad said he gets to the school and sees misaki at the window talking to the guys and then he seen Tadashi so he walked to the class room and opened the door and seen misaki laughing and having a good time with our friends and Tadashi.

then he heard someone call out to him

Nao you came huh? it was misaki.

I ran to him and hugged him and said sorry for leaving you at home he looked at me and laughed and said it's ok...remember you said if I wasn't down in time ur leaving without me hahaha.

yes I remember haha ....Ding Dong ..... ohh we have gym today said Nao. I can't wait to go hey guys you wanna see how good misaki is at sports it's awesome how much she can do right little sis haha...

Nao stop it I'm not that good at sports!

wow she's so athletic said Ryu hey Tadashi looks like u have some competition haha.

he looks and smiles with a little blush in his face Nao seen him and asked if they could talk alone for a minute Tadashi agreed to talk to him as they were leaving to a quieter place to talk misaki caught them leaving in the corner of her eye. she wasn't paying attention and got hit in the head by the basketball Ryu and Akio ran to my side and helped me up misaki are you alright?

I said I was fine but when I tried to get up I felt a sense of dizziness come on.

we're taking you to the nurse not know that's where Nao and Tadashi were.

Listen Tadashi I don't want u and my sister together all the time I'm not trying to be rude or anything but she's my little sister and if she ended up liking you and you hurt her I wouldn't forgive myself for letting it happen.

as we were right around the corner we heard someone say

"just do me a favor and stay away from her ok"

huh that's Nao why is he saying this to Tadashi he hasn't done anything but be kind to me. Hey looks like Tadashi is saying something look says Ryu...huh....

I get you want to protect your little sister but she's old enough to make her own choices Nao and what if I were to date her I don't think she will let you get between us. I will admit I do like your sister ever since I first seen her your sister is growing up and you need to accept that if not she will hate you for holding her back said Tadashi.

You how dare you said Nao you don't know a thing about misaki I was always there for her always by her side I hardly doubt she will hate me.

I can't stand you Tadashi my sister is to good for you I would never allow you to be in a relationship with her.

THATS ENOUGH!!!!!!! STOP THIS RIGHT NOW!!!!!!

Nao this needs to stop right now Tadashi hasn't done anything but show complete kindness to me and all you can do is disrespect him Nao I want you to stop treating me like a little girl do you understand me.

But misaki I was just looking out for you as a big brother supposed to please hear me out misaki.

NO NAO I heard enough I want you to apologize to Tadashi and leave him alone from now on Nao ok I don't need you fighting for me like when we were kids you can stop being so overprotective with me Nao and you are right. I could never hate you but that doesn't mean I can't be mad at you now go apologize please.

Alright misaki you win Tadashi forget what I've said I'm sorry just know I still hate you but if it will make my sister happy I'll put up with you till she's tired of you hahaha.

then Ryu and Akio stepped in and dragged me to the nurse

Come on misaki....

oh yeah I forgot about the bump I got I'll see you later Nao as I said that Tadashi walked in with us and Nao went to class as we were in the nurse office Tadashi told Ryu and Akio they could go to class and he will keep an eye on me till I feel better they both said ok and said see ya later love birds with a little laugh then they left.

In my head I was thinking about apologizing but before I could say anything Tadashi spoke and said

it's ok you don't have to always apologize for your brothers actions misaki then he looks at me

Misaki can I ask you a question if you don't mind?

oh sure ask me as many as you want with a smile on my face.

then he smiles and says ok then I will ask my question then ok ready?

yup what is it ?

Do you remember me when we were little? I looked at him... then he spoke again and said you were playing with a little boy in the park one day I stopped him with a surprise look on my face!!!!! And was quite for a minute. Then I spoke.

You, you mean your the little boy I was playing with that day?

he answered and said yes but because I didn't know your name I couldn't find you....

but one day I was looking though my old photos when we were in kindergarten it turns out you were with me in every school I went to I looked at the pictures we had to bring in of us with our mothers and seen

This so I did more research and I put the pictures together and the dreams I had and there you were right in front of me.

I looked at him and said wow you really looked for me that long I looked at him and my memories of him and the dreams I've had everything was put together even the drawings I've done trying to see wat he looked like as I looks at him tears started to flow down my face he looked at me and just as he was about to ask what was wrong I got down and hugged him I finally found you...

he hugged me back. Once I stopped crying and felt better we headed back to class to have lunch I didn't really wanna talk at lunch but Tadashi and I made a promise to be by each other's side till we knew how we felt about each other so he sat in front of me at lunch the others joined us even Nao. it was such a awesome day I didn't want it to end I had to stay after to help with the student council so my brother and his friends went on home while Tadashi stayed to keep me company and walk me home.

Hey Tadashi thanx for staying and walking me home **blushing like crazy** as he looked at me and smiles.

Hey why are u looking at me like that Tadashi?

He laughed and said it's nothing your just so beautiful the sunset makes you shine so bright on you and it just make your eyes sparkle. It shows how beautiful you are misaki

Tadashi.....

I just looked at him as he continues to talk to me.

Hey misaki remember the promise we made when we're little?

Huh a promise?

Hahha had a feeling that you would forget it. the promise we made together when we were little the way we started it went like this

..... *As the sunshines in the morning and sets at night this promise that we make will never be forgot*...

Then we made each other a promise saying that if we don't see each other again we will find each other no matter what .

That was the promise that we made together oh I do remember that I'm a little surprised that you remember it was so long ago I smiled as Tadashi looked at me then said I would never forget a promise like that with my first love. I looked at him then he turned to look at me in my eyes.

what did you just say? I asked.

he looked at me and smiled then grabbed my hand and said nothing forget about it ok now come on before it gets to dark out

he's holding my had oh man I'm probably red as an apple what do I do to be honest I wanted him to stay holding my hand it was so warm it made me smile. I kinda wanted the walk to my house to be even longer I wanted to stay holding his hand . He looked back and seen my face then smiled but then stopped walking and said

your house is around the corner right?

huh I looked around and said oh yes I guess it is I looked down...

hey wats wrong? Tadashi asked.

huh oh it's nothing.... come on you can tell me. I looked at him then smiled and said well I liked holding your hand I didn't want to let it go but we're at my house now so I guess we have to right.....I looked up Tadashi walked closer up to me.

huh what's wrong did I say something wrong maybe I shouldn't have said nothing at all..... then before I knew it I was being kissed on my forehead.

Then he looked at me and said

It will be ok how about I hold your hand tomorrow going to school and back then?

but won't it look like we're a couple? I asked.

Yes but I don't mind I'm not going to pretend that I don't have feelings for you misaki you make me happy and would like to go out with you but I won't rush you into it you can answer when you are ready ok.

I looked at him and smiled and said ok then we go to my house and say our good byes and good nights he heads home and I go in my house. I had dinner and went to bed smiling knowing I will still see him in my dreams and the memory of holding hands will be in my dreams too.
