Chapter 1: Hawks, The Number Two Hero

Not too long ago I graduated from UA High School and currently working as an undercover hero. Though there is a possibility that I will not be undercover much longer. You see, I applied for a job that might affect my life completely.

I applied for a sidekick position for the number two hero, Hawks. It will give me experience as well as meeting the pro hero. If I was my best friend Lacy I would be freaking out completely. Of course I'm excited to find out if I'm even going to get an interview.

A week later and as I wake up I open up my email. I saw a response! I hope it's a yes.

Dear Y/N L/N,

Thank you for applying for my sidekick position. I have looked at your records and I saw that you went to the UA High School. I also think your quirk is quite unique and it seems. I mean you have elements there's almost nothing you can't do. If you are still interested in being my sidekick position please come to ***** St. at 12pm next week Wednesday. We will have an interview in my office.

Oh my god- HE ACTUALLY ACCEPTED THE INTERVIEW. I screamed in excitement/disbelief.

"Hey are you alright?!" Lacy asked me.

I look at her with a smile and show her the email.

"Oh. My. God. YOU GOT AN INTERVIEW WITH HAWKS?!?! THAT'S AWESOME!!" She screeched happily jumping up and down slightly as her light blonde hair bounced with her as she held my laptop.

"Pfft Lacy! Don't get too excited you'll break my laptop!" I laugh at her while grabbing and putting the laptop back on my desk.

"Heh sorry!" She stuck her tongue out.

"It's alright." I smile at her and start typing.

"Woahhhhh Y/N you're so cool!" Lacy looked at me with her big apple green eyes.

LACY MONOMA, HER QUIRK: COPY. IT ALLOWS HER TO COPY A QUIRK IN HER FIELD OF VISION FOR A SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME. SHE HAS A LITTLE BROTHER, NEITO MONOMA WHO HAS THE SAME QUIRK. IF SHE USES HER QUIRK TOO MUCH SHE WILL GET NAUSEOUS.

"Don't look at me like that Lacy I'm not even that cool." I blushed scratching my face lightly.

A week later and here we are. I start to walk inside when I actually realize how nice the mansion was.

"Woahhhhh it's beautiful and huge! Damn!" I say in awe.

"I know right. I never would've thought I would have a mansion like this." I hear a seductive voice say behind me.

I slightly jump and instinctively kick him in the nuts.

"OH MY GOSH I AM SO SORRY." I say. I then realized who it was as I looked at his golden eyes in pain as I go to help him.

"I-It's okay I sh-should've not jumpscared you." He groaned in pain.

"Anyways with that out of the way," he laughed, "you're L/N right?"

"Yes sir." I laughed embarrassed.

"You've got a good kick I gotta admit." he smiled through the pain.

"Thank you sir." I laugh nervously.

I've got to admit Hawks is a handsome Pro-Hero. He has slight facial hair on his chin with golden eyes and hair. Wait is that eyeliner?! That's awesome. He's a femboy- I laugh at the thought. AND HE'S SHORT. I laugh profusely.

"Watcha laughing at? Does my pain amuse you~?"

"N-No sir, I-I was laughing at uh- a childhood memory.

"I see...well lets go inside shall we?" He stands up and walks slightly limping.

"Uh yes sir." I follow him awkwardly.

As we head inside it's a beautiful mansion as we're walking I'm just in awe. He tells me to head towards the third floor to the first door on the left. As I'm walking up the white stairs I admire the golden railing. Wow... I think to myself. As I pass the second floor I get I'll admit, lazy. I lightly use air to go up the rest of the stairs. I get to the third floor and walk to the first door on the left and open it. I see four regular sized desks on the sides and a massive one by the window in the back. In front of this desk was an office chair of course there was another behind it which seemed extremely comfortable but I didn't sit in it of course I respect the pro-hero too much. I sit in the chair in front of it as the one and only hero opened the door behind me.

"Hey kid, sorry I took forever." I heard him apologize.

"It's no problem sir, I didn't wait long anyways." I nodded as he came into my field of vision.

"Very well." He sat down handing me some kind of juice.

I thanked him and then he started asking me questions.

After The Interview

"Alright well thank you for coming here L/N-san." He nodded.

"Of course, thank you for inviting me sir."

"I'll email you around this Friday if you got the job, is that alright?"

"Yes sir."

"Very well." He smiled slightly red. I wonder why.
