4 “The Boy and the Old man”

I woke up in my bed, just after I woke up I franticly searched for the old man who came to be my grandfather. I ran across the house to search the old man I shouted "OYE OLD MAN, WHERE ARE YOU?" I was thinking, was all that happened yesterday can't be dream right? As to answer my question the old man replied "come over here Arron I am here at backyard."

Hearing his voice, I felt it was all real, I finally have my own family, I was no longer an orphan. I headed towards the backyard, where I saw old man practicing some kind of meditation, as if discovering my presence, the old man turned towards me smiled and said "So how did my grandson slept last night?"

"amm…. I slept good, amm…. so are you really my grandfather?" I asked. "Well of course I am, why? do you think I will call anyone my grandson "said the old man. "No, it's just, how do you know that I am your grandson for sure?" I asked, after last night encounter I returned to my cautious personality with some changes that I can't explain.

"I know you are. Because I was searching for you for all these years and when you were about to die, thanks to your parents' thoughtfulness I was able to reach you, so I'm sure that you are my grandson" said the old man. "So who are my parents where are they?" hearing this, old man's face changed, he was as angry and sad at the same time. Looking at his expressions I understood that it's complicated, so I just waited for his reply, there was tension in air, we were silent, one can hear the sounds in our surroundings, then old man replied "your father died protecting your mother and you, and your mother sacrificed herself to send you away from our world to this unknown place hoping that you would be safe."

Hearing this made me filled with a torrent of emotions, I was feeling anger, happiness, hatred and astonishment at the same time, "ok! what do you mean by 'your world'…., I am not from earth" the old man smiled and said to me "there are lot of things you don't know about yourself my dear, first of all sit here" I set down to listen to the old man, he said "we are not the inhabitants of this planet, this world and many other worlds, cosmic realms and planes are unknown to our existence, well some might know because time to time we have to make our existence known".

I was shocked yet again this old man is trying to make me die from surprises, why can't I have a normal grandfather. I was thinking and cursing my fate, I was like... all I wanted was a normal family and what I got is an unknown supernatural grandfather!!!!!! Seriously I must be your favorite toy right Mr. fate thanks a bunch. old man smiled at me like he's seen through my thoughts he said "don't worry child you will soon come to know who are you, but I can't tell you about your parents, so don't ask who were they and why they died, all you have to know that at they were they were the greatest and noblest existence known to all the cosmic planes that existed".

After saying this grandpa took a break and said "I will respect your parents wish and let you live a normal life that they want for you. Even if I don't agree with their views, you are their son, so they have the rights to make a decision for you. So I'll let you live a normal life as any other kid until you are considered an adult by the ancestral stone of our stone clan plane, which is 4 years from now, at the age of 9 I will ask you of your choice, how you want to spend your life unt…" I cut in between "there is no need grandpa I want to avenge my family" there was nothing but a desire to erase the existence of those who took my family away from me in my eyes.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA good very good did you heard that Ray, Mira, you are really the grandson of I the sovereign of creation ADAM STONE, but no my child you have to wait, I know it's hard to wait, even I want to go right now to fight them to death but I can't after the last fight I can only fight once and I know in the fight I will die which I can't because I have you to take care until you can live on your own".

"but grandp..."" No more arguments on this topic young man, give your parents at least this much right over you to make a single decision for the child they died for." I was cut off in between and after hearing what grandpa said I was unable to say anything again. "I know it will be hard but to make a right decision you have to analyze both side of the case so to make you live a normal life, I made a decision for you I know it's gonna be a selfish one but I know I have to do this".

"What are you gonna do grandpa? "I asked him." don't worry child, I am gonna seal all your memory and give you a new one, so you can live a normal life and when the time comes you will have the experience from both side of life and at that time I want you to make a decision for yourself" "no grandpa don't do that" I shouted but he still did that to me and seal my memory I asked 'will' to help me but he said he agree with my grandpa. Before my memory got sealed I heard "A soul filled with vengeance can only be cured by a heart filled with love" this is what your mother used to said to your father.
