15 "Recalling Old Memories (5)"

"I couldn't take this anymore so, I decided to finally ask him the whole story." *sigh*

"Minyeol we know each other for the last 3 years and in those years there are so many good and bad things happend, but whenever I needed someone, you always used to be with me.

You're not just a friend but a family, you're like my own brother. I know there's something which is bothering you but I can't see you like this. Whatever the thing is I'm always here by your side, so please don't hesitate to tell me anything.

( I said everything in one breath but his expressions remained same as before. Cold.)

After a while he turned to look at me and asked in a very cold tone..

"Ever heard about Kim Textile?"

I was dumbstruck by his sudden question, but what makes me amazed more is that his question was about a clothing company.

During all those years which we spend together I didn't hear anything like this from him, curiosity filled in me. But this was not the right time to ask a question so, I decided to answer his question.

"Yes. I heard about them.

"Kim Textiles Company Ltd" with its subsidaries principally engaged in the Production, Sale and Distribution of Cotton Yarn, Grey Fabric and Denim. "Kim Textiles has grown rapidly and become a large scale enterprise in China during the past 30 years.

Above all, the owner of this company is still in his early 40's.

Equal to my father's age.

"Dong. How do you know about all these things??"

Minyeol didn't believe that I knew so much about "Kim Textile." He was stunned.

Actually, I have heard many times about this company from my father, during the phone conversation. Also, I searched it myself and found all these informations.

As you know, I am also very interested in business like my father. After searching for them,

I found that "Kim Textile" is our biggest competitors in Textile Industry. That's why I know them.

After listening to all those things, Minyeol becomes more tense.

"What is it Min? What's the matter?

Why are you suddenly asking question about Kim Textile?" I asked in confussion.

He hesitated for a moment before saying.. "The own... owner of Kim Textile is my dad."

"What..??" I jumped off from the couch. Can't able to proceed his words. I was shocked, that my best friend is a son of my dad's biggest business opponent.

Owner of Kim Textile is his biggest competitor but it would not be wrong to call him the biggest rival in other words.

"He is my dad."

"As you already know that our company has a good reputation in global market, he wants me to continue this business and become a successful business man like him."

At first, I was not interested in business, so I didn't know about a thing.

But when I told my dad that, I want to be a basketball player, he told me every single detail about our company. That's when I knew about the compitition between our company's.

He asked me to continue this business, after him and this is the only thing he asked me in life. I just cannot deny him so, I agreed for his sake. But when I came to know that his biggest opponent is your father, I was really scared that it would ruin our friendship.

(Tears once again flowing uncontrollably from his eyes.)

"Dong you're just like my brother but I think we should end this friendship here. "I.. I'm sorry.

I hope that you'll become a great businessman just like your father but I need to go now because I don't want us to be like them in future."
