13 "Recalling Old Memories (3)"

I helped him to come out of his shell.

Together we did many mischiefs.

His personality was always reserved but atleast now he started to open up a bit and talked to everyone when there's need.

He also helped me to improve my marks and at the end of semester my dad was very happy to see my marks.

Once again we both gain popularity in school but this time not only with

our looks or personality but this time because of our friendship. People started to call us

"MinDong" and "DongMin."

The time we spend together was the most beautiful time of my life.

After our last basketball match we won again and we decided to celebrate it.

I knew one of the best ramen shop nearby street so we all went there to eat ramen and some hot and sour soups.

We were talking about random things while eating when one of the team member asked..

"MinDong" which university do you want to go after graduation?"

As I had already made up my mind that I have to go to best business university so I tell them.

"DongMin" What are your plains? They asked to Minyeol.

I was damn sure that he's gonna make his career as a basketball player.

"Actually I too have a plain to go to bussiness university. " He said casually.

Everyone's eyes widened including

me. Minyeol has always been passionate about basketball

I remembered one day when our team lost the match and he became extremely sad..

"Min.. don't be very sad winning and loosing is just a part of the game.." I said to make him calm.

I can never forget what I got in return... his anger filled red eyes when he said to me "It's not just a game for me it's my dream."

"That was a first time I saw him like this and I really got scared but after that day our team never lost a match we work really hard especially Minyeol."

"Yes. I also want to study bussiness." He said in a cold voice.

I didn't believe what I just heard..

In confusion I asked him again "Min are you sure you don't want to be a basketball player??"

He lowered his head and kept staring at his ramen bowl for some time before lift his head up and see straight into my eyes he said.. "No. I want to study bussiness.."

I can clearly saw moisture in his eyes but I didn't said anything.

"Oh" I'm great to hear that because now if you want to study bussiness so we can apply for the same university with that I hugged him tightly.

Aish... he push me away with a smile formed on his face "My bad.. now I have to haul you for some more years."

I was dumbstruck by his words and everyone started to laugh.

I did this just to distract his mind but deep inside I was confused if I should be happy that we're together for more years or to be sad because I was clearly know that something is definitely happened to him. I saw moisture in his eyes but he make a fake smile in front of us.

That night after dinner when everyone leave Minyeol went to drop me home by his car we both were sitting on the back seat of the car while the driver was driving. When we left the restaurant the weather was fine at that time but suddenly the weather started getting worse. Strong wind blowing with flashing thunder, it seemed like that rain is going to occur anytime.

Minyeol was looking out of the car window on the deserted road. There was silence in the car before I hesitantly ask him "Min are you okay?"

He startled a bit then blink twice before face me and said "Yes."

"Do you really want to study business?"

I asked him again.

We have been best friends for three years and we're very close to each other, we knew the strength and weakness, highs and lows of each other so I knew that there was something wrong with him so I decided to ask him clearly?

He lowered his lashes and after some time.. "Please stop the car"

he ordered the driver.

"Sir it's raining outside."

"I said stop the car." He shouted.

I went to the sqaure but I remained calm for him but before I could say anything the car's door opened and the person sitting next to me got up and went out in heavy rain. He was going on the deserted bridge, I also opened the door of my side and followed him.

"Min...Min- Yeol...."

I shouted in heavy rain but his steps were not stopped. I screamed again as I tried to run after him

"Minyeol stop I said stop right there"

He suddenly stopped and got frozen in a corner of the briz.

I ran close to him his back was facing me so I pulled his wrist and make him face me that's when I saw his tears were flowing uncontrollably from his eyes.

We was standing at the bridge in heavy rain but one can clearly see the tears flowing from his eyes uncontrollably.
