Shen Mochen pushed the door to the room open.

It was empty except for a note on the bedside table.

Shen Mochen walked forward and picked the note up.

The handwriting on the note was clear and beautiful. The writing flowed across the paper.

It said: "I've borrowed your jeans and belt. I will return them to you in the university's courtyard at noon tomorrow."

Shen Mochen lips quivered and his eyes looked at the note intently. Then he walked to the window and looked down at the ground.

The second floor was three meters above the ground, but two meters above the ground was an air conditioning cabinet.

This girl was very bold.

"President Shen, I picked up an employee's ID card in your bathroom. Do you want to see if you want to keep it?" Chang Kaiwen came towards him with a mop in one hand and an employee's ID card in the other.

Shen Mochen looked back. He put the note in a book. Then he walked towards Chang Kaiwen and took the employee's ID card from him.

Shui Miaomiao.

The radio host of GBB.

"GBB?" Shen Mochen frowned. It was somewhat familiar to him.

"Oh." Chang Kaiwen seemed to think of something. His eyes shone, and he said, " I remember. This company wanted to be our Huaichen's group acquisition. Their boss contacted you several times, but you refused every time."

A glimmer of light flashed in Shen Mochen's bottomless eyes. "Ask the Venture Capital Department to re-evaluate the GBB station," he ordered. "I want to see the specific report tomorrow before work."

"Yes, I will do it right away," Chang Kaiwen said respectfully.

Shui Miaomiao returned home. She pushed open the door. Yanyan was sitting on the sofa watching TV. His feet were resting on the tea table which was swaying leisurely.

He was seven years old and was in the first grade.

He should be at school right now.

But this Thursday to Saturday, the school had organized a spring tour. He did not go and just stayed at home.

"Lunch is on the table. Help yourself," Yanyan said without turning his head. He carried on watching TV.

Shui Miaomiao glanced at Yanyan. She felt warmth in her heart when she listened to his annoying little adult tone. With a smile on her face, she put on her slippers.

"Thanks. It is indeed different to have a man at home." Shui Miaomiao tapped her feet and walked towards the table.

Yanyan glanced at Shui Miaomiao and frowned seriously when he saw what she was wearing. He asked, "Where did you get those clothes from? You weren't wearing these when you went out."

"I borrowed them from someone," Shui Miaomiao said lightly. She opened the lid covering the food. Inside was some boiled fish, a bowl of tomato and eggs, and a bowl of rice.

She rubbed her tummy. She was hungry. She pulled out the chair, sat down, and ate her food.

"Very ugly indeed," Yanyan commented in disdain. "Woman, tell me why I was so blind in my previous life and found a lady who didn't care about her appearance like you as a lover?"

Shui Miaomiao stuffed a mouthful of rice into her mouth and lazily replied, "Be happy with it. Many guys have been a bachelor their whole life in their previous life. It is good enough that you still have a woman."

Yanyan thought for a while and felt there was some truth in what she said.

He jumped down from the sofa and climbed onto the chair opposite Shui Miaomiao. He blinked his dark eyes and stared at her.

Shui Miaomiao could tell that he wanted to ask something. His beautiful features were exactly the same as those of the man she had seen today. Their eyes were especially similar, with their deep double eyelids and large eyes as black as obsidian. They both had high noses. Even their eyebrows were alike.

Shui Miaomiao thoughtfully narrowed her eyes, pointed at Yanyan with her chopsticks and said lazily, "What do you want to ask?"

Yanyan frowned and said, "Woman, your life is so miserable that you can't even afford to buy good clothes. Why don't you ask my biological father to give you some child support? It's better than you supporting me all by yourself."
