After Luke considered Jack's suggestions, he flew away instantly to purchase a suitable dress for April. Even though he predicted that April would refuse to accept any gift from him, he was still willing to be humiliated. He thought that he deserved this little humiliation in exchange of her happy face. After all, the harm that caused by him couldn't be mended ever.

After exhaling a long anxious sigh, he clasped the bag tightly in his palm and picked up the courage to knock on her closed door. The wooden door was closely shut and no movements could be heard from indoor. 

Luke knocked two times and he could feel his nerves getting tensed up.

Was she angry? Wasn't she willing to meet him?

This questions all popped up in his mind as he received no response from the opponent. After nudging his bottom lips restlessly, he already lifted up his pace to head back but soon after heard a shallow low voice,

" Come in."
