Lilianah remained frozen on her spot staring disbelievingly at the unscrupulous man who contained an evil smirk all the while. She glared at him harshly but the man didn't show any sign of backing up.

Finding that she didn't make a move, Eric sighed deeply in purpose and stole a glimpse from his wrist watch. Figuring out that indeed night had turned deeper, he urged holding an unfazed look,

" It seems like you would prefer to sleep now. I am heading back to your room then."

He teased after resuming helplessly,

" Now I'm gonna read this mysterious book alone. You should have a good sleep now."

Lilianah halted before darkening her eyes. She knew that Eric was doing everything on purpose just to defeat her spirit. She clenched the portion of gown tightly leaped on her lap and thought for a moment deeply.
