Elijah raised the widow's son from the dead. When the son died, Elijah took the boy to his upper room, stretched himself out on the child three times, and called on the Lord. God heard Elijah's prayer and the boy came back to life. This miracle demonstrated Elijah's strong connection with God and God's mercy.
Elijah performed miracles through God's power. For example, he made the fire come down on Mount Carmel as I mentioned before. It was a clear sign of God's might working through him.
He also multiplied the widow's oil and flour. The widow was about to make her last meal for herself and her son and then die. But Elijah told her to first make a small cake for him. And through God's power, the oil and flour did not run out during the famine, which was a great miracle.
