I really like the story where Batman battles Ra's al Ghul. Ra's al Ghul is such a complex villain. He has his own ideology about cleansing the world. Batman has to not only fight him physically but also counter his philosophical ideas. They have epic battles in the mountains and secret lairs. The story is full of twists and turns as Batman tries to protect Gotham from Ra's al Ghul's grand plans.
One of my favorite Batman stories is when he has to rescue Commissioner Gordon who has been kidnapped by Two - Face. Two - Face is unpredictable with his coin - flips to decide the fate of his victims. Batman has to race against time. He uses his knowledge of Gotham's sewers and rooftops to get to Two - Face's hideout. It's a story that shows Batman's loyalty to his friends and his unwavering will to fight evil.
My favorite Batman story is the one where he teams up with Robin to take on the Penguin. The Penguin had taken over the Gotham docks and was using it for his illegal smuggling operations. Batman and Robin worked together to infiltrate the docks. Robin was great at distracting the Penguin's minions while Batman found evidence to put the Penguin away.
