In my opinion, a great Percy Jackson powerful god fanfic needs to have engaging character interactions. Since Percy is a demigod, his interactions with powerful gods can be really interesting. For instance, in some fanfics, Percy has to negotiate with a god, and the back - and - forth dialogue makes the story exciting. Also, the fanfic should have a sense of adventure. Percy is always on some kind of quest, and a good fanfic will keep that spirit alive. It should also have a unique take on the existing Percy Jackson mythology. Maybe it explores a side of the gods that we haven't seen much in the original books.
