School. Lockers. Hallways. Exams. Memories.
At school, lessons, friends, challenges, thrive. School offers various lessons that we need to learn. With friends by our side, we face challenges together. And through these experiences, we learn how to thrive in different situations.
Moonlight, figure, near grave. Under the moonlight, I saw a figure near a grave. It was hunched over, as if doing something strange. I could feel a sense of dread wash over me. I didn't want to get closer but I also couldn't look away, fearing that it might notice me if I made any sudden moves.
Gift, rejected, sad. Imagine you put a lot of effort into a gift for someone. It could be a handmade item or something you carefully selected. But then that person rejects the gift. It makes you feel sad because not only is the gift not appreciated, but also your feelings behind it are ignored.
Think of a simple, creepy situation like 'Lights out. Something moves. Shadows.'
Use simple but spooky words. For example, 'Footsteps, but no one'. The words 'footsteps' immediately create a sense of someone or something being there. But when you add 'but no one', it becomes a horror story in just five words. It makes the reader wonder what is making those footsteps if there's no one there.
