Ji 'an Dadong Mountain Yunyin Temple Water and Land Dharma Assembly
The Dharma Assembly on Water and Land held by the Hidden Cloud Temple on Mount Dadong was the most solemn ceremony in Chinese Buddhism. The Water and Land Dharma Assembly originated from Emperor Wu of Liang during the Northern and Southern Dynasties. Through the Water and Land Dharma Assembly, they hoped to eliminate the disasters of all living beings, increase their blessings and wisdom, pray for world peace, peace of the country, good weather, and the well-being of the people.
