Uncle Wu Zhu was actually a robot. His eyes were covered with a black cloth. Although his eyes were blindfolded, he could sense everything around him through other means. The black cloth covered his eyes to hide his identity and protect others. Wu Zhu had a pair of laser eyes. If he took off the black cloth, he would not be able to control his own strength and might cause harm to others. Thus, Wu Zhu covered his eyes not because he couldn't see, but to protect himself and others. Thus, Uncle Wu Zhu could actually see it.
