Find a novel that was published around 2008.
I vaguely remember that the protagonist is the son of an imperial general (Or the son of a noble in the Empire). He relied on his family's power to bully men and women, committing all kinds of evil. After the protagonist transmigrated and occupied his body, he walked the path of the strong. The beginning of the story was that the protagonist used his true feelings to touch the woman who was bullied by the original owner of his body. She was forgiven and accepted by him. In the later part of the story, the protagonist's family was destroyed by the enemy of the Empire, and the protagonist was used dragon saliva.(I remember it's called Ambergris. Anyway, it's something that can make people lose their martial arts and magic.) After sealing his martial arts (and making him extremely old at the same time), he was fortunately saved by a woman who came in time (the woman who loves the protagonist). Later, he seemed to have escaped to hide in a mercenary group.
I only saw this much! I really want to continue reading this book!
