'Dream of the Red Chamber' was written by Cao Xueqin, the author of the Chinese classical novel. There were many details in the novel, and the 13th Cold and 15th Side were two of the more famous scenes. The Thirteen Colds referred to the series of cold weather that Jia Baoyu experienced while living in the Grand View Garden in the novel. In these cold days, Jia Baoyu needed to wear thick cotton clothes and quilts to resist the cold. The 15th side referred to a building in Auspicious Pearl Garden where Wang Xifeng lived in the novel. The building's unique feature was that the windows were very small, and the air inside was very dirty and had poor ventilation. Wang Xifeng's body gradually became weak during her stay in this place due to the poor environmental conditions. These two scenes were the more representative details in the novel.
