The Truman Show was a science fiction film released in 1998, based on Peter Weir's novel of the same name. The story was about a man named Truman Coulson, who lived in a fake world and was deprived of all real feelings and freedom. The protagonist of the movie, Truman, lived in a fictional world called State 22. His family, friends, and work were all in this fake world. Truman found that he had been chosen by a director named Producer to be the protagonist of a sci-fi movie. The location of the movie was the fake world he lived in. However, during the filming process, Truman gradually discovered that this fake world was not what he had imagined. He had a conflict with the producer and finally discovered the truth. As the truth was revealed, Truman began to reflect on his life and tried to escape from this false world. In the end, he successfully escaped from this fake world and returned to his home to start a real life. Through Truman's experience, the movie explored the relationship between falsehood and reality, freedom and restraint, and also presented the relationship between technology and humanity.
