I've read a fantasy novel before, but I can't remember the title. Can you recommend something similar to it?

The protagonist was originally powerless. Later, he became a statue on the mountain (he often went there to look at the statue). He only woke up three years later. I still remember that he was chased by someone, injured, and knocked unconscious by a woman. Later, the woman was taken away by the protagonist and went to a school.
