Was it wrong for Wang Jiazhi to release Mr. Yi in Zhang Ailing's novel?
In Zhang Ailing's novel Lust, Warning, Wang Jiazhi letting Mr. Yi go was one of the plots in the novel. In the novel, Wang Jiazhi and Mr. Yi met in a coffee shop and gradually developed feelings for each other. However, her father objected to her being together with Mr. Yi, causing her to have no choice but to leave Mr. Yi and return to Shanghai. After returning to Shanghai, Wang Jiazhi found that she had fallen in love with another man. She decided to break off relations with Mr. Yi and let him go. At the end of the novel, Wang Jiazhi realized that she had made a mistake. She regretted her decision at the beginning, but she also realized that she had made a choice.
