Tang Chao: Is " The Fall of the Giant " as powerful as the introduction says?
During the Tang Dynasty, the world was still in the middle ages. Human society had just broken away from the shackles of the feudal system and began to advance towards modern civilization. During this period, the world had undergone tremendous changes, and mankind's understanding of nature had gradually deepened, and the level of science and technology had been greatly improved. During the Tang Dynasty, although the level of science and technology had reached a certain level, due to the limitations of the era, there was no such huge change as described in " The Fall of the Giant." The Fall of Giants was an excellent novel that reflected the good and evil of human nature and moral judgment through fictional stories. It had high literary value. However, as a fictional art form, novels could not fully reflect the history and technological level of the real world. Therefore, there might be a certain gap between the technological level of the Tang Dynasty and that described in " The Fall of Giants."
