The song of life sung by the physically disabled but strong-willed Paul is a famous plot in "Paul Kochagin". It shows the spirit of the protagonist, Kochagin, who persisted in fighting and struggling even though he was seriously injured. Xuanzang's Pilgrimage was one of the famous Pilgrimage stories in ancient China. It told the story of Xuanzang, a monk of the Tang Dynasty, who took three disciples to India to obtain the true scriptures after going through 81 difficulties. Combining these two plots can express the theme of "no matter where you are, as long as you have a firm belief and an indomitable spirit, you can overcome difficulties and achieve your goals".
