When did Chinese literature originate?
The origin of Chinese literature can be traced back to the pre-Qin period, which was between 770 and 221 B.C. During this period, many important cultural achievements appeared in China, such as the classic works such as the Book of Songs and the Spring and Autumn Annals, which became the cornerstone of Chinese literature. In the following historical period, Chinese literature experienced many developments and changes. During the Han Dynasty, many important literary works appeared in Chinese literature, such as Records of the Historian and Han Shu. During the Tang Dynasty, Chinese literature reached its peak, and many famous poems appeared, such as Li Bai's "Will Enter Wine" and Du Fu's "Climbing High". During the Song Dynasty, Chinese literature began to turn to realism, and many important literary works appeared, such as Su Shi's "Ode to the Red Cliff" and Li Qingzhao's "Dream Order". During the Ming Dynasty, many important novels appeared in Chinese literature, such as Water Margins and Journey to the West. Chinese literature has a long history and has gone through many different periods and changes, leaving behind many excellent literary works and cultural heritages.
