Why do so many people hate first-person books?

First-person books usually describe the author's own feelings, thoughts, and experiences. It's easy for readers to feel a sense of immersion when reading. If the reader's character is the same as the author's, the reader will feel that the author's emotional fluctuations are similar to their own. This similarity may resonate with the reader, but it may also make the reader feel indifferent or unreal.
