MC kills Boyd(the animal exterminator who kidnapped Lumen) after seeing he had captured Lumen(actually Boyd only disposes of the bodies, he does not capture them, maybe author wanted Lumen untouched?), despite the event happening 4 years or so later in the canon(and Lumen being out of Miami at this point in the timeline), and shows his face to Lumen(this is a Lumen that did not get traumatized by the Barrel Killers, thus should turn on Dexter due to being a normal person/not having her dark passenger- and because she did not see him as an angel that came to save her from her hell). Also the whole Lumen thing in the canon happened because Dexter was in a bad place, Rita had died, and Lumen was broken, together they healed each other. Anyway, after MC showed his face to Lumen what does he do? He takes her to his home. Where Debra is... Thinking Deb wouldn't notice the obvious signs of abuse she suffered(as a vice worker she WOULD), and... Let me repeat.
