Chapter 1: Decision?

On Earth in the city of Shanghai, a young man was standing alone on the top floor of the tallest building in the city. Shanghai city is the richest city in China and it is also the most expensive city in the world.

As the man who owned the tallest building in Shanghai, there was no need to guess his identity, he was definitely the top billionaire in the world.

Suddenly he spoke '' Like I had expected, there really no supernatural powers are exit in this world".

The young man has a handsome face like the main leads shown in Korean dramas, and he looks like he is in his mid-20s.

He was standing behind a glass window while looking at humans below on the street with indifferent eyes. His expression was serene and calm. The young man seemed to be busy thinking about something.

''Have you decided?''.

A voice abruptly appeared out of thin air in the large office room. The voice was mechanical and very cold.

A black-haired young man standing with one of his hands in his pocket while smoking a cigarette and he nodded. ''I've decided, I accept your offer''. Gu Fanyu replied to the voice.

Where the voice came, it could be seen that the ball of light was floating on the right side of Gu Fanyu. When Gu Fanyu saw the ball of light again, it reminded him of what'd happened three days ago.

Three days ago, while relaxing in his office, suddenly a ball of light appeared in front of him and introduced itself as a System and it came from a vast and boundless universe.

The System wants to choose Gu Fanyu as its host. Also, as long as Gu Fanyu accepts to become its host, the System says it could grant Gu Fanyu real superpowers, but Gu Fanyu needs to travel to another world because Earth really did not have any supernatural powers.

Of course, with Gu Fanyu's intelligence, he did not believe it. He even suspects that some dark organization used this method to trick and manipulate him.

This is because many top echelons and the world's wealthiest tycoons knew about Gu Fanyu's obsession towards supernatural powers.

Over the past five years, he had spent billions of dollars to find a clue and prove the existence of supernatural powers on the earth. Unfortunately, all his effort and money were wasted without any good result.

All he got was tales of legend and written history about supernatural things like ghosts, souls or evil spirits that people in ancient times believed and worshiped.

Though Gu Fanyu initially did not take this System seriously. But his intuition tells him that the System is a real supernatural entity.

So to confirm what the System said was true, Gu Fanyu called many of his workers to see if they could see or hear the System, but none of them could. He was the only one able to see and hear the System.

He even checked the surveillance camera in his office to see if he was able to see the System through it, but there was still nothing.

After further probe into the System's existence, Gu Fanyu almost affirms that the System is indeed a supernatural entity.

''Even if there is a great change you lie to me or maybe you just want to take over my body. But life is a gamble. It's more exciting if the stakes are high, Haha!''. Gu Fanyu laughed loudly.

There was a different kind of calmness in his eyes. It was like the surface of a lake without ripples. It was as if he had seen through life and death. It was hard to imagine that such a gaze would arise in a young man who was not even thirty years old.

Wealth, fame and authority are meaningless to him. Those things are faked power. The truth is, no matter how much money, fame and authority you have, instantly when someone points a gun at your head and pulls the trigger, you die.

This is reality!

Only real power can suppress everyone and make you truly invincible. Now the real opportunity to obtain a superpower had appeared in front of him. How could Gu Fanyu not dare to take it?

Only Gu Fanyu himself knows the main reason he started the business and even became the top billionaire in the world in just seven years, due to his strong desire to obtain superpowers that should only exist and have been seen in the movies.

Thus, he needed resources and a large amount of money to explore the entire earth until he found what he wanted.

Gu Fanyu heard this and smirked, then said calmly. ''I hope so. Then I'll ask you now, what are you? Apart from what you have revealed, and how would you help me obtain superpowers?
